Some of the oldest vines in McLaren Vale are more than 100 years old. Older vines produce smaller, intensely flavored berries. Selected blocks are handpicked at optimum ripeness and then slowly fermented for two weeks prioer to aging in French Oak Barriques for 36 months. This is a very powerful fruit driven wine, boasting intense aromas of black cherry and plum with hints of liquorices and dark chocolate. A deliciously concentrated and complex palate, which finishes with seamlessly balanced integrated cedar oak and long lingering silly tannins. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. This shiraz is a powerful well balanced fruit driven style showing intense berry fruits of mulberry and blackcurrant with soft vanilla oak and finishing with a long clean full flavoured palate. Best with beef, lamb.

 

Individually selected parcels of low yielding and full flavored fruit made in the old fashioned way and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. This achieves a richly colored wine with full berry flavors. This sophisticated wine has intense ruby red tones that hold ripe sweet blackberry flavours with a savory edge. The well refined influence of oak and assertive fine tannins gives a long smooth finish.

This fruit driven wine of blackberry and dark cherry has white pepper overtones that adds complexity. Deep red and purple, this wine has developed a harmonious balance of fruit and tannin. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

 

The blending of cabernet and Merlot is one of the worlds Classic varietal combinations; The bouquet has lifted aromas of plum and black berries, influenced with silky vanilla cedar oak characters. A soft round palate offers ripe plum, blackberries and dark chocolate, smooth tannins and flavoursome savoury finish. A well balanced wine, ready to drink,

Dark crimson red. A deeply perfumed nose displaying blackcurrant and plum, complemented by vanilla and cedar aromas. The rich, rounded palate showcases vibrant sweet plum and dark berry fruits. Vanilla, cedar oak characters complement the fruit on the palate. Great length with rich ripe flavour concentration, the finish is long and silky smooth.

 

This intensely flavored wine is generous, with tones of black cherry and plum. Extended and silky tannins finish balanced with full fruit pallet make this unique wine. Best with: lamb, steak, duck, goose, sausage and hard cheese.

 

The fruit is picked ripe and gently pressed allowing the juice to settle naturally before being filtered. The wine is cold fermented to retain fresh fruit characters. A fruity lift of raspberry and apple with musk undertones is complimented by refreshing acidity and natural berry sugars.

Aromatics include rose water, watermelon and raspberries while the palate is sweet and fruity with a refreshing lingering spritz

Pale gold in colour with lifted floral aromas and small beads of bubbles. The palate is light in the mouth with Sweet spice and tropical fruit and subtle herbaceous over tones. floral and slight herbaceous tones continuing from the nose and is well balanced with the natural sweetness and crisp acidity. The wine finishes with a soft clean acid and lingering 'Spritz' dancing on your toque. Lower in alcohol; the Grandeur Moscato is a wonderful drinking wine any time of the day, and any day of the year - suited as an aperitif or a perfect accompaniment to dessert, for examples - an orange scented panna-cotta with pears poached in the wine itself.
